Forensic assessment is a specialized form of psychological assessment, which occurs within a legal context. Dr. Mora conducts such assessments using evidence-based approaches that consider the importance of validity testing, too. Such assessments are not covered by healthcare insurance plans. Dr. Mora conducts the following forms of forensic assessment:

  • Competency to stand trial
  • Violence risk assessment
  • Personal injury and disability cases involving posttraumatic stress and cognitive functioning
  • Law enforcement examinations
  • Parenting capacity within child protection cases
